To play an active role in eliminating disparities of outcomes for families while providing support, our agency established a team dedicated to Black African Canadian Services.
This
team reflects the identities of African Canadian
communities and works with families from an
Afrocentric approach. Their lived experiences
coupled with equity, anti-Black racism, and an
understanding of racial trauma serves to develop trusting,
helpful relationships. The team has a genuine
passion for the upliftment of Black families and is invested in improved outcomes.
